Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, will soon see its first elevated forest walkway. From there, guests will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. The walkway inspired by the famous forest walkways in Singapore is quite ambitious. It would connect Kamala Nehru Park to Doongerwadi Woods. BMC has planned this eco-friendly initiative that promises an amazing scenic walking experience.
Know more about this ambitious project:
The forest is created over an elevated walkway on a length of 705 meters situated on Malabar Hill region, Mumbai. This wonderful elevated landscape of the forest provides unbroken views to walkers toward the Arabian Sea. It has designed a very fine wooden structure so as to disturb the natural environment while preserving water flow along hill slopes and wildlife movement to as minimal as possible.
