Rajasthan Ajmer’s Introduces India’s First Luxury E-Cruise on Ana Sagar Lake, Promoting Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Travel Experience 

Rajasthan unveiled a pioneering concept for India as it launched India's first luxury electric cruise onto the serene waters of Ana Sagar Lake in this town, marrying elegance with Eco-Friendly Travel Experience . Designed with opulence against environmental consciousness, located on the picturesque Ana Sagar Lake in Ajmer, this luxury e-cruise is a product. This singular 22-meter double-decker vessel can take 150 passengers and cater multi-cuisine food on both air-conditioned and open-air decks with sustainable facilities. 

Luxury Electric Cruise Rolled Out at Ana Sagar Lake to Prop up Tourism in Rajasthan

The Indian state of Rajasthan has forged yet another step towards progress in the tourism sector: this time, it launched its first ever luxury electric cruise service on Ana Sagar Lake in Ajmer. The eco friendly cruise has left all its travelers with a memory they would never forget while keeping the environment intact. Developed by Goa-based Board Craft Private Limited, and owned by JP Dadhich, the project is a investment of INR 5 crore.

A Featherlight Wonder Built for Shallow Waters.

Comprising of lightweight fiber, unlike conventional heavy iron, this double-decker vessel runs 22 meters long and is designed especially to operate in shallow waters, as shallow as four feet. This means it is the first of its kind in India, offering the most unique combination of comfort and sustainability. The lower deck of the cruise is air-conditioned to provide a cool haven in the sultry Ajmer summer. Meanwhile, the upper deck includes outdoor seats, such as a dance floor, so it would be ideal for smaller, intimate occasions like a private party or a night of DJ mixes or just relaxing and watching lovely panoramic views of the lake.

Passenger Capacity and Onboard Amenities

The e-cruise can take 150 passengers and 75 comfortably seated on either deck. The choice for the guests in terms of culinary offerings will not be lacking, owing to a fully equipped kitchen on board serving a mix of continental cuisine, fast food, and freshly squeezed juices. Separate restrooms for both men and women add to the comfort of the experience and ensure a smooth journey for all passengers.
Such is this luxury e-cruise, with a commitment to sustainability. Electrified by batteries, there is no polluting smoke spewed out as of today; and under discussion lies the installation of solar panels that will propel it further on the road to eco-friendliness. Bio-toilets have also been installed so that the pristine Ana Sagar Lake is least affected. It is responsible tourism coming out wrapped in a promise with high-end luxury and a commitment to environmental well-being.

Entertainment and Security on Board

Luxury cruises are never complete with entertainment. Passengers would enjoy sounds of music and dancing on the top deck while sailing past the glassy waters of Ana Sagar. Making safety a priority, the boat is provided with CCTV cameras, life jackets for all the passengers, and a ready rescue boat.

Ana Sagar Lake: Ambrosial Mix of Historical Significance and Nature

Behind the lakeshore, which in itself is an ancient treasure, lie the lakeside park. It has been constructed by Arnoraja, the grandfather of the celebrated Rajput emperor, Prithviraj Chauhan, during 1135-50 AD. Surrounding the lake are the Mughal additions like the Daulat Bagh gardens created by Emperor Jahangir and marble pavilions (Baradari) added by Emperor Shah Jahan. As such, it makes Ana Sagar Lake a destination that brings both the natural and historical landmarks together.

Ticket Details

The luxury e-cruise ticket is priced at INR 350 for adults and INR 250 for children. The cruise lasts for one hour.
